The short answer for Noida companies
Human resource management software for a Noida company has to apply Uttar Pradesh rules, not Delhi's or Haryana's: no professional tax on salaries, the UP Labour Welfare Fund's own system, registration under the UP shops and establishments act, and the minimum wages the UP Labour Department notifies. Teams split across Noida, Delhi and Gurugram need software that applies each state's rules by work location.
Several HR software vendors list an office in Noida, which helps if you want on-site training, but most HRMS today is cloud software implemented remotely, so compliance coverage and the employee app matter more than the vendor's address. Vendor facts below come from their own websites, checked on 27 October 2026.
What's different about HR in Noida
Noida sits in Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, so UP labour law and UP notifications apply to establishments here, even though most of the workforce commutes across the NCR. The city's mix of IT and IT-enabled services, electronics manufacturing, media and real estate means HR teams handle office staff, shift and night-shift workers, plant workers and contract staff side by side, often in the same company.
That mix decides what you need from HR software: shift rosters and night-shift allowances for services teams, attendance that works at plants and project sites, contract-labour records, and payroll that applies UP rules for Noida staff and other states' rules for colleagues in Delhi or Gurugram.
Uttar Pradesh rules your HR software must apply
Central laws (PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity and bonus) apply as anywhere in India. The state-level differences are where payroll set-ups go wrong:
- Professional tax: Uttar Pradesh does not levy professional tax on salaries, so Noida employees should show no PT deduction. A common mistake is copying another state's PT slab into a multi-state payroll. See the professional tax calculator for states that do levy it
- Labour Welfare Fund: the UP Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 funds welfare from sources such as fines and unpaid accumulated wages rather than a fixed monthly employee and employer contribution; under the 1972 rules, employers hand those amounts over to the Labour Welfare Commissioner. See labour welfare fund
- Shops and establishments: the Uttar Pradesh Dookan aur Vanijya Adhishthan Adhiniyam, 1962 covers shops and commercial establishments across the state; registration and renewal run through the UP Labour Department's online system
- Minimum wages: the UP Labour Department revises basic rates with a variable dearness allowance; its website carries a notice of revised rates for 74 scheduled employments effective 1 April 2026. Check the latest notification before each payroll; see minimum wages
- PF and ESI: PF applies from 20 employees and ESI generally from 10 employees in implemented areas, for staff earning up to ₹21,000 a month; use the PF calculator and ESI calculator
Teams across Noida, Delhi and Gurugram
Many NCR companies have one office in Noida, another in Delhi or Gurugram, and staff who move between them. State rules follow where the employee works, so a Gurugram employee falls under Haryana's rules and a Delhi employee under Delhi's, while the Noida team follows Uttar Pradesh. Your HR software should store a work location for every employee and apply the right professional tax, LWF and minimum wage rules from it, and attendance should be recorded at the right location, which matters for staff who split weeks between offices or sites.
HR software vendors with an office in Noida
From each vendor's own contact page in October 2026, these HR software vendors list a Noida address:
- HROne (Uneecops Workplace Solutions): an office in Sector 68, Noida, listed first on its contact page, plus New Delhi; Basic plan ₹4,950 a month for 50 users with geofencing, selfie and offline attendance
- Empxtrack: its India sales, support and implementation office is in Sector 135, Noida; payroll is free for up to 10 employees, with other pricing on request
- greytHR (Greytip Software): a regional office in Sector 62, Noida, alongside its Bengaluru office; plans from ₹2,495 a month for 50 employees. See our greytHR review
Other HR software vendors in the NCR
If a Noida address isn't essential, these list offices elsewhere in the NCR on their own sites:
- Zimyo: an office in Gurugram (Sector 44); Basic ₹80 per user a month with a 50-user minimum
- PeopleStrong: headquartered in Gurugram; enterprise HR with prices on request
- Keka: an office in New Delhi; pricing from ₹90 per employee a month per its small-companies page
- Akrivia HCM: an office in New Delhi (Saket); prices on request
Does a local office matter?
Less than it used to. Cloud HRMS is configured over video calls and screen sharing, statutory updates arrive online, and support runs by chat, phone and email. A local office helps when you want on-site training for many supervisors, a rollout across several plants, or face-to-face meetings during setup. What matters more is whether the product applies UP rules correctly, whether support is available in your working hours and language, and whether the employee app works for your staff at your sites.
What HR software costs for a Noida company
Vendors charge Noida companies the same national prices. As listed in October 2026, before 18% GST: Kredily has a free plan with payroll calculations; Zoho Payroll is free for up to 10 employees; greytHR starts at ₹2,495 a month for 50 employees (₹4,495 with attendance); Zimyo's Basic plan is ₹80 per user a month with a 50-user minimum; HROne's Basic plan is ₹4,950 a month for 50 users; and Attend Mitra's Attendance module is ₹29 per employee a month. The best HRMS software in India compares them in detail.
A checklist for choosing HR software in Noida
Use the trial to test the things that are specific to your Noida set-up:
- Run a sample payroll for a Noida employee and check that professional tax comes out at zero
- Add a Delhi or Gurugram employee and check that their state's rules apply
- Check how UP minimum wage revisions are updated and who updates them
- Test shift rosters and night-shift allowances if you run services or plant shifts
- Test attendance at your actual sites, including basements and plant floors, and offline
- Confirm support hours, onboarding help and Excel export of all records
Attend Mitra for Noida teams
Attend Mitra is based in Kurukshetra, Haryana, and works with teams across the NCR online; we don't have a Noida office. It suits Noida companies whose staff work at sites, plants, stores or in the field: clock-in with face, GPS geofence or Wi-Fi checks that work offline, shift rosters, leave, and payroll that applies each employee's state rules. Pricing is per employee per month (Attendance ₹29, Leave ₹9, Payroll ₹32) with a 14-day free trial; see the module prices or book a demo.
